Broadcasting Live From Mumbai
They say great things come in threes, and this is definitely the case for our presence at CPhI events in 2016.
Less than one month on from CPhI Worldwide in Barcelona (and following a pretty strenuous visa application process), we dug out our t shirts and jetted to Mumbai to deliver Event TV at the 10th anniversary CPhI & P-MEC India.
With all the industry movers and shakers coming together across two venues at one of the largest pharma events in Asia, it was vital to provide a quality content TV channel which captured and promoted the most exciting, diverse and important highlights from across the show.
Fronted by presenter Dr David Bull, CPhI TV live streamed a variety of content such interviews, workshops, demonstrations and panel discussions to six impact LED screens across the two venues to 40,000 attendees, as well as streaming live on YouTube.

Live from the World Cheese Awards in San Sebastián
In November 2016 we turned the 29th World Cheese Awards into a live Event TV channel.
Presented by Nigel Barden and Jo Pickard, World Cheese Awards TV followed all the exciting action at the most prestigious awards event in cheese, which was staged this year in San Sebastián as part of the International Cheese Festival. The channel was streamed live online where it was watched by viewers from all over the globe.
Organised by the Guild of Fine Food, the World Cheese Awards drew entries from 31 different countries this year, from Australia to Italy and Mexico to Mozambique. Cheese of all shapes and sizes made their way to the Kursaal Congress Centre where 266 cheese experts tasted and graded over 3,000 cheeses in a single day, giving Bronze, Silver, Gold and Super Gold awards to worthy entries.
The final judging panel then debated the top 16 cheeses in front of a trade and consumer audience, broadcast live on World Cheese TV, before crowning this year’s World Champion Cheese.

Our screens to spend Christmas on Oxford Street
We installed two LED impact screens for the Christmas 2016 period in the main window display of one of Oxford’s Street’s largest department stores.
The 3m x 2m and 2m x 2.5m high resolution screens will display a variety of engaging digital content at the flagship store of one of the UK’s leading retail brands.
LED was the perfect choice for the brightly lit window display, enabling the screens to appear vibrant and eye-catching at any time of day along one of London’s most famous and busiest streets.
We live broadcast the Golden Joystick Awards
Presented by Julia Hardy (Radio 1) and James Veitch at the Indigo O2, the 34th annual awards recognised the best video games of the year as voted by the British public.
Awards included Best PlayStation Game, Best Xbox Game, Best Indie Game and the coveted Ultimate Game of the Year. Our camera crew captured all the action which was live broadcasted to YouTube, gaining just under 40,000 views. The broadcast featured interviews with producers and developers of the biggest games of the moment, as well as exclusive behind the scenes footage and previews of the next big game releases.

Filming at the Unsigned Music Awards
Continuing with our streak of work on exciting award shows, we provided a camera team to film at the Unsigned Music Awards, held on Thursday 27th October.
Hosted by Laura Whitmore (MTV) and Chris Stark (BBC Radio 1), the Unsigned Music Awards are the first-ever televised awards show to be exclusively dedicated to celebrating the achievements of unsigned music talent.
Our camera crew captured all the action which was streamed live on to large screens around the venue, London’s Troxy. The footage was then aired on Monday 31st October on Sky, Freesat and Freeview.
Building a presence at UK Construction Week
From 18th – 20th October we created a brand new Event TV channel at the UK’s largest construction trade event, UK Construction Week. Thousands flocked to the NEC in Birmingham to see the latest innovations and hear from the biggest names in the industry.
UK Construction Week TV captured all the action with presenter Jo Dyson, interviewing visitors, sponsors, exhibitors and key speakers as well as exploring all the latest trends and developments and panel discussions. The channel was streamed online and around the NEC (including to our bug LED impact screen), keeping everyone up to date about what was going on around the event and encouraging visitors to explore new areas. We also created a series of highlights videos which summarised all the best bits.
Show Director Nathan Garnett discusses the value of having Event TV at the UK Construction Week and how it brought life to the event, whilst also providing them with long term content to use after the show finished.
