Silverstream TV brought the Miss England and Mr England contest back to our screens for the first time in more than 20 years.

Broadcast live to the internet from the Hilton NEC and also tweeted live using Silverstream's system, Video at the Speed of Twitter.

Angie Beasley the event organiser says "It's very rewarding to see the Miss England competition move forward with 21st century media and a new generation of viewers and contestants.

"We are proud to work with Silverstream TV and hope our relationship continues". We were literally overwhelmed by the online response. Regrettable some viewers missed out as the Miss England website was overloaded. We'll know better for next year!
