New Scientist Live got great audience feedback as Silverstream enabled them to live stream the content from 5 stages at ExCeL London

We help New Scientist Live reach new audiences

Silverstream turned New Scientist Live into a fully hybrid event. People were able to attend in person or buy a digital ticket which enable them to watch any of the 5 stages live or afterwards as video on demand.

Livestreaming the talks from New Scientist Live offers numerous benefits for both the organisers and the audience.

Expanded Audience: Live-streaming allows the event to reach a global audience, including people who are unable to attend in person due to geographical, financial, or time constraints. This significantly increased viewership and New Scientist recieved positive feedback from the digital audience that was 'off the scale!'.

Accessibility: Audiences with disabilities or those in remote areas were able to participate, making it more inclusive.

On-Demand Viewing: We recorded all 5 stages and made the content available for on-demand viewing after the event, allowing people to catch up with sessions they'd missed sessions or wanted to see again.

Extended shelf life: As well as hosting it online, we supplied New Scientist with hi-res copies of all the talks that they'll be able to use long into the future.

Access to knowlege: Attendees, regardless of location, can hear from leading scientists, researchers, and innovators, gaining insights they might not have access to otherwise.

Good for the environment: Watching online reduces the carbon footprint associated with travelling to the physical event, making New Scientrist Live a more sustainable event.
