Watch the British Book Awards live stream from Monday 29 June 2020. Streamteam's remote event production technology was brought in to capture the reaction of winners and contributions from remote presenters. In the run up to the Awards we created numberous social media clips featuring celebrities like Matt Lucas, Andrew Marr, Ian Rankin and Tim Peake.
We broadcast the Awards live to Youtube, Facebook Live and Twitter, reaching an audience that far exceeded the number that would normally be able to be at the Park Lane event. As the results were announced we used Video at the Speed of Twitter to publish videos of the winners' reactions to Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
Some of the video clips reached over 40k viewers. Post event our remote event production gallery was in action again recording in depth interviews with two of the biggest winners on the night - Author of the Year, Bernardine Evaristo and author of the Best Book of the Year, Candice Carty-Williams for Queenie.
