The Streamteam partnered up with The Bookseller and H2 to bring The British Book Awards to LIVE. We were asked to capture the excitement and the energy of the event and create a buzz on social media channels on the night and for long term marketing.

Instagram Story Success 

We created videos on the night ready for Twitter and Instagram Stories, our videos were turned around instantaneously so viewers were kept up to date at the touch of a button. After seeing such a demand for Insta stories, our team were thrilled for the challenge to turn high quality video, sound and graphics into enjoyable chunks of content for the audience to watch on their Instagram channels. 

During the drinks reception we spoke with celebrity authors such as Jacqueline Wilson, Dr Ranj Singh and Ian Rankin. This content was shared on the night but also made available for their marketing team to use throughout the year, short sound bites from celebrities talking about the event and their involvement in it.

Backstage Studio

We created a cosy bookshop studio finished with two HD cameras to capture interviews with celebrities and winners. These videos were edited on the night ready for the marketing team to publish the next morning. Each video was shared on social and embedded on websites and linked to email campaigns to maximise exposure for The Book Seller, winners and sponsors.
